Prescription Drug Take Back Day!


Prescription drug take back day to take place Saturday October 28, 2017. Dispose of unused medication in a safe way. Bring them to the Menominee Tribal Police Department or the Neopit Fire Department from 10am – 2pm.

Farmers Market Vouchers Available!


A limited number of farm market vouchers will be distributed
When: THIS FRIDAY, July 21st starting at NOON
Where: Menominee Farmer’s Market at the College of Menominee Nation

Open to income-eligible residents of the Menominee Reservation age 55 and over
(please complete attached eligibility agreement in advance or on-site)
One set of vouchers per household

Vouchers can be picked up by proxy; proxies need to bring a signed statement from the eligible senior designating that person as their proxy; and include senior’s complete address, phone number and date of birth.

Congrats Grads! College of Menominee Nation Graduates 80 State Residents

Residents of 26 Wisconsin communities, including members of nine American Indian tribes, received academic degrees and technical diplomas in College of Menominee Nation ceremonies held on Saturday, May 27, in Keshena.

The College invited its recently retired founding President, S. Verna Fowler, Ph.D., to present the guest address, and baccalaureate degree graduate, Lloyd J. Frieson, Jr., to speak on behalf of the Class of 2017. Both reside in Keshena.

Saturday ceremonies also honored Dennis Vickers, Ph.D., who was named the American Indian College Fund Faculty Member of the Year. Vickers, who teaches in the College’s Humanities program, holds Philosophy degrees from the University of Texas (Ph.D.), Bowling Green University (M.A.), and University of Wyoming (B.A.). A resident of White Lake, he has served on the CMN faculty since 2006.

Board Meeting Tuesday 3/21!


The chamber’s next board meeting is Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. to be held in the Forest Island Restaurant of the Menominee Casino & Resort.

July 10th is St. Michael’s Parish Picnic!


Save the date! July 10th will be St. Michael’s Parish Picnic. Also, note this need from the Parish.


      If you are a high schooler from St. Michael’s, mark your calendar NOW!  We need for you to step forward and volunteer to help out at your Parish Picnic on Sunday, July 10th after the 9:00 mass.  Your help is needed with the games and fun activities we are planning.  Please, set a good example for our young ones and volunteer! Put your faith into action!  More information as we get closer to the date!  Mark your calendar, NOW!
